It all began amidst moments where I was collecting flowers and greenery as fast as I could, running out of hands to hold them. I have had a love for florals for many years, but hadn’t found my niche until now.

As exciting as it is to create with live florals, there comes a day, usually less than a week later, that the beauty morphs and changes. What was once bright, flowing, and full of movement, has turned brittle and a different kind of beautiful.

I tried to find a way to capture the beauty forever and that is how I discovered pressing flowers. I have used this method to preserve memories in my own life from my Alaskan adventures to my own personal love story.
